This thesis looks at how to implement user-centered design to Internet of Things enabled application with the design development of an application for reservations of parking spaces. It will look at how to apply user-centered design, how the users experience the design with the Internet of Things technology and if there can be made some recommendations for industrial development of these kinds of applications. The thesis presents a user involved design process of an application that includes the development of several prototypes to conduct the research of the objectives. By conducting this design development I will present with findings that supports that there is possible to apply user-centered design to Internet of Things enabled applications and give an evaluation on how users experienced using it. This research presents some recommendations on how to conduct similar research and may be a useful start on how to implement Human-Computer Interaction to the field of Internet of Things in an industrial context.en_US
