This thesis is a study of the use of accents in eighteen of Disney's animated feature films released in the years 1995-2009. Building on Rosina Lippi-Green's study from 1997, the present thesis aims to investigate whether there are correlations between accent and character traits in these films, and also whether there has been any diachronic change in the use of accents, compared to the findings from Lippi-Green (1997).en_US
