dc.description.abstract | With the release of ”Fritt behandlingsvalg” in 2015, Norwegian patients got the right to select where they want to attend special treatment. As of now, there is no easy way to compare treatment centers, as the information about their treatments can only be found at their respective websites. During this study, we are going to look at the current problems with ”Fritt behandlingsvalg” and try to develop a recommender system that helps patients select a treatment center that suits their needs. First, we implement a prototype based on input from the Norwegian Multiple Sclerosis Competence Centre. Then, we conduct a set of surveys and experiments to test our prototype and improve it through several iterations. Based on experience and feedback, we present a proposal to a general framework that can collect data from treatment centers and recommend centers based on patient preferences and needs. | en_US |
