dc.description.abstract | Results on transverse lambda polarization in peripheral heavy ion collisions in an exact, analytic, self-similar rotating hydrodynamics model using the gradient and curl of the inverse temperature field. We estimate the transverse polarization to be 1% for center of mass transverse momenta of (0,0) GeV/c, and 16% for the edges over the range [-4,4] GeV/c in the transverse plane). | en_US |
