Recruiting highly skilled migrants to the Sunnhordland region - a company perspective
Abstract
This thesis investigates company strategies for recruiting highly skilled internationals to the Sunnhordland region. Exemplified by a case study, the role of the region is investigated as a variable in strategies of recruitment. The thesis also discusses recruitment and labour attachment, and types of labour flexibility in relation to choice of recruitment strategy. The role of Internet in regional marketing towards an international labour market is emphasized.
