Abstract
This thesis is a brief ethnographic account which investigates change among sedentarized Turkana people, drawing from ideas and observations of previous work. It focuses in particular on the socialization of the younger generations of sedentarized Turkana. It considers previously detected changes in thoughts, practices and imaginations through different ethnographic data and fresh observations. It deals with the long-term transformations related to past colonial, developmental and religious interventions in some areas of Turkana as reflected in the younger generations.
