Sammendrag
The present thesis provides some insight into teachers' attitudes and practices regarding using visual learning materials as a means for developing students' intercultural competence. The study applied an explanatory sequential mixed methods design where both a questionnaire and several interviews were administered. That gave a relatively complete picture of the participating teachers' reported attitudesand practices. The findings from the study showed positive attitudes toward and extensive use of visual learning materials with the purpose of developing students' intercultural competence.
