Sommeren 2006 solgte Orkla sin medievirksomhet til det britiske selskapet Mecom. Dette salget skapte en del debatt, og oppgavens formål er å kartlegge hvilke meninger som kom til uttrykk rundt salget gjennom forskjellige diskurser i sentrale trykte medier.
