dc.description.abstract | This thesis aims to investigate what kind of tags users apply to resources in a location based collaborative tagging system called Digitur2. This is investigated primarily by analyzing quantitative data produced by conducting an experiment. Some user observations and reactions are also studied in order to explain the findings. This thesis also includes some information about the development of Digitur2, an interactive tourist guide, although the focus is on the collaborative tagging functionality of the system. I conclude that the user's presence at the location of a tagged resource can in fact affect the type of tags used to describe the resource. | en_US |
