Sammendrag
The main aim of this thesis is to examine the situation of Kamalari girls in the post social and political revolution in Nepal. Kamalaris are the Tharu girls who are bonded in a contract to do the domestic work in the house of the master, though the system has already been abolished in the year 2000. Kamalari system of bonded labour is not been paid much attention which is very popular in western regions of Nepal. Employing an anthropological perspective my study aims to find out the situation of Kamalari girls in the context where the bonded labour system has already been abolished.
