Higher Hochschild homology is a homology of both a space and an algebra. Fixing the algebra gives a homology of spaces that exhibits stable and unstable behavior depending on the choice of algebra. In this thesis we study the connections between cases where the homology of spaces is stable and where it is not, with the conclusion that the stability fails due to a lack of naturality.
